There are times when you are not climbing at your limit, or know that you will be wearing your rockboots for many hours, so comfort really matters - when instructing, bolting, big walling or doing long trad routes here or abroad.   They can also take the pain out of descent routes, making the whole climbing experience more pleasurable.

Indeed this boot will complement your existing smearing boots, so saving wear on them when you don't really need their super high performance.

This boot offers a wide toe box, and does not feature a heel tensioning rand.  The sole is quite stiff to provide extra support, while the heel features a foam wedge for extra cushioning.  The upper is unlined off white leather, so expect some stretch.

As always we advise against buying rockboots without trying them on first, as fit is critical.  We will supply by mail, and do of course offer a full refund if they do not fit, but strongly suggest that you try and call in our shops for a proper fitting.
